I just don't think this is the case. I found a post on another site that directed my to launch the skyrim exe directly from the steam directory with steam shut down. THIS FIXED THE CRASH ISSUE!!! 100 percent. Now steam decided they would update today and now i can't launch skyrim directly anymore, it just restarts steam.
